We’re excited to collaborate with you to create a high-value, unique educational event for stepparents and adults in blended families. 

Stepmoney is a 5-day virtual event that will educate stepparents on some of the trickier elements of being in a blended family because I believe that  this is the fastest path to empowerment.

What's in it for you as a speaker for the Stepmoney Summit?

  • Meet new potential clients. This summit will introduce you to a whole new group of potential clients. 
  • List Growth .You have the option to contribute a product to the PowerPass which will allow people to opt-in directly to your email list. 
  • Affiliate sales. You have the option to promote the PowerPass as an affiliate and earn commission revenue for sales. 

How it all works

 Here’s how the Stepmoney Summit will work.

This is a first-time event. The Stepmoney Summit is a 5 day online event January 8-12. 2024. All presentations will be pre-recorded. You have the option to submit a pre-recorded presentation or schedule an interview. We recommend the interview because it's less pressure on you, the speaker. It's also more dynamic for the summit attendees. Each session will be approximately 30-minutes longDuring the presentation you can promote your freebie that is a part of the PowerPass.

If you've been a part of a virtual summit before some of this may already make sense. If not don't worry. It's all explained here. 

The details

  • Leading up to the summit, we’ll have about two weeks of promotion.  The summit is designed to be an easy thing to promote for speakers. You are simply inviting people you know to watch a presentation of yours…for free. Because the holiday season is right before the summit we will give plenty of extra time for promotion. 
  • We'll provide prewritten copy and graphics (swipe files) that you can use to make promotion easy. The summit should sell itself all the speakers need to do is help create awareness. The success of a summit is like any community event built around a common theme. If each person does a little bit then the group overall has a great experience. We request that each speaker to promote at least once via email and once on social media to ensure everyone benefits, but anything above and beyond that is totally up to you, your goals with affiliate commissions, and how much you'd like to support the event.
  • During the promotion phase and as the summit is running, I - the production team with promote the the powerpass.  This includes an all-access pass for the replays, notes and action steps for each presentation), extra live sessions, and and all the bonuses that get put together. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions and additional email addresses.

What I’ll Ask of You as a Speaker

This all sounds great, but what do we need from you? Let’s chat about it!

Our goal is to make everything easy so we can all enjoy the event while providing immense educational value and growing our businesses.

BASIC INFORMATION

First, we’ll gather some basic information from you so we can finalize the Registration page and show you off on our Speakers page.

You probably got an email directing you to this page and inviting you to be a speaker. Once you let us know you’re in, we’ll send a form where you can upload this information easily. 

PRESENTATION

The presentation  is around a 30-minute pre-recorded education presentation where attendees can learn something valuable, feel encouraged, and have fun in the process.

In my experience, the easiest way to do this that is also the most interesting to the audience is the interview format. We have a back and forth discussion about the topic and you may also have some slides or handouts to share. Once you submit your speaker form you will also pick an interview time.

If you have a full presentation that you’d like to use instead of an interview. Let me know. 

Presentations are due by December 10th.

Powerpass CONTRIBUTION

The Powerpass will be a value-packed addition to the presentations. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to collect attendee email addresses, we encourage you to provide a resource to add.

This includes things like:

  • Trainings and workshops
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (big or small)
  • Introductory short-term memberships
  • eBooks or printed books

While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate. It’s a great way to collect lots of additional email addresses (as attendees will provide their information to claim your bonus) and it makes it easier to promote since your audience will want what you’ve included.

We’d love information about your bonus as soon as you’re able to provide it, but it is not due until November 11. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out to make it easy.

PROMOTION

The power of a virtual summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved. We can’t get any of our speakers results above what we'd do on our own if no one shares.

To ensure this event is beneficial to all, speakers I request that each participant send a minimum of one email about the event and post at least once on social media during the promotion period. I will remind you. 


Some summits call this a requirement. I won’t phrase it that way but I definitely won’t invite you back to future collaboration projects if you don’t help with the summit promotion. 

Each speaker can sign up as an affiliate. If you do that you’ll want to share using your affiliate link so you can get in on the 40-50% commission that will come from any sale of the summit upgrades and the additional commissions that come from purchase of our products afterward.
